This science fiction novella tells of a future where genetic engineering allows Black people to become White– for a terrible price. We follow the struggle of a young Black man who abandons his race for a chance at misguided happiness. Milton is overcome by his betrayal of his people and leads a revolution against a government that now wants him dead and his race extinguished.
